What is the difference between a snatch block and a sheave block?
A snatch block has a side plate that opens so rope can be inserted mid-line. A sheave block typically requires the rope to be threaded through.
Does the load on the block change with rope angle?
Yes. The load on the block and its anchor depends on the angle between the rope legs and can be close to double the line pull. Our team can help you size it.
How long can I hire it for?
Daily, weekly or long-term hire. Tell us your dates when you request a Quote and we will price the period that suits the job.
Does it come inspected and certified?
Yes. Every item is inspected and tagged by our team before it leaves the yard, and the current certificate goes with it.
Can you deliver to site?
We deliver nationwide from our branches in South Australia and the Northern Territory (Regency Park, Whyalla and Darwin), or you can collect from your nearest branch.
Not sure which size or type you need?
Send us the load, the lift and the site conditions. Our team will recommend the right equipment and include it in your Quote.
