Questions, answered

Can't see your question?
Call our team on 08 7089 8335.

What is the difference between a lever hoist and a chain block?

A lever hoist is operated with a ratchet handle and works in any direction, including horizontally. A chain block uses a hand chain and is designed for vertical lifting.

Can I extend the handle for more leverage?

No. Never fit a cheater bar or extension to the handle, as this can overload the hoist. If it is hard to operate, you may need a larger capacity unit.

How long can I hire it for?

Daily, weekly or long-term hire. Tell us your dates when you request a Quote and we will price the period that suits the job.

Does it come inspected and certified?

Yes. Every item is inspected and tagged by our team before it leaves the yard, and the current certificate goes with it.

Can you deliver to site?

We deliver nationwide from our branches in South Australia and the Northern Territory (Regency Park, Whyalla and Darwin), or you can collect from your nearest branch.

Not sure which size or type you need?

Send us the load, the lift and the site conditions. Our team will recommend the right equipment and include it in your Quote.
