Fixed Lifting Beams: outline drawing
Lifting & Spreader Beams

Fixed Lifting Beams

Fixed lifting beams lift from a single top point with the load hung below, so they need less headroom than a spreader. They are hired for lifts under low roofs, inside buildings and plant rooms, and for loads with multiple lifting points.

FAQs

Questions, answered

Can't see your question?
Call our team on 08 7089 8335.

Why choose a lifting beam over a spreader beam?

Lifting beams need less headroom because there are no top slings. They are ideal when crane hook height or ceiling clearance is limited.

Can a lifting beam be used with a chain block or hoist?

Yes, provided the hoist capacity covers the load plus the beam weight. Ask our team to confirm the combination.

How long can I hire it for?

Daily, weekly or long-term hire. Tell us your dates when you request a Quote and we will price the period that suits the job.

Does it come inspected and certified?

Yes. Every item is inspected and tagged by our team before it leaves the yard, and the current certificate goes with it.

Can you deliver to site?

We deliver nationwide from our branches in South Australia and the Northern Territory (Regency Park, Whyalla and Darwin), or you can collect from your nearest branch.

Not sure which size or type you need?

Send us the load, the lift and the site conditions. Our team will recommend the right equipment and include it in your Quote.
